Q: How long have you been teaching?

A: 6 years

Q: What’s the weirdest thing that ever happened to you?

A: “I was a coach and we had an away game, and I went to the wrong school.”

Q: What is something about you that most students don’t know?

A: “I came into teaching later in my life, before I came into teaching I was in project engineering.”

Q: If you had to have a job that had nothing to do with science, what would it be?

A: “Somebody that travels the world studying ancient cultures and civilization.”

Q: How long have you been a teacher?

A: Two full years.

Q: Have you had any other jobs besides teaching?

A: Yes. I worked in a library for three years, and I worked as a go-­cart attendant. That was the worst job of my life.

Q: What's one interesting fact about yourself?

A: I’m a huge sports fan. I’m an incredible dancer. I’m three seconds off the Mario Kart world record.

Q: Strangest thing that happened to you while teaching?

A: I dropped a marker on my tie and ruined it.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I love watching sports. I like to play video games if my wife lets me. I like to read. I like to play ultimate frisbee.

Q: What do you like most about being a teacher?

A: I enjoy that I get to do math every day, and I love to see things click when students get their “aha” moment.

Q: What do you like most about math?

A: You can be extremely creative with it and solve problems.
